Why, thank you, Cindy. I may do that as I seem to do better with all of you than without. What color??? I know it's sender's choice, but I have such a have deciding with guidelines I don't know if I can without guidelines. Anyone have a preference ?? May be I'll just close my eyes and stick my hand in the FQ drawer.

Irishrose, I prefer some florals in blues if you please. Since you asked. LOL

Florals I have. Blue - not so much. It may take some digging, but you've given me an incentive.

Too busy today. We collect gently used jewelry and clean and repackage it for our church bazaar to benefit missions. It's absolutely amazing the quantity and some quality that shows up every year. Tomorrow is sandwiching the big quilt for the same reason.

Out to dinner with oldest daughter for her birthday. She's such good company. Her youngest DD and 2 DGDs joined us then later my youngest DD and her DS.

Hope you all are having good days.

I've had a stomach bug for 2 days now. Not doing anything but staying close to the bathroom. Can't eat much, mainly broth and water. Monday was my birthday and I spent it in bed. Our son wanted to take us out to eat. I told him I'd have to take a rain check. I hope this mess is over with by tomorrow. I haven't even looked at my fabric, but will try to get my FQ's to you later.

Please be praying for my twin sister. She tried to commit suicide last night. She took a large amount of pills and washed them down with alcohol. She is in a hospital in Minneapolis.

Pam, I'm so sorry. You, your sister, and all the family will be in my prayers.

Thanks, Cindy. I'm not babysitting today so I guess I will be making a trip to see her in the hospital.

Pam, hope sis is okay - or getting better. Suicide attempts are a cry for help and I hope she is able to find it. Hubby has been there, so I really feel with you.
Haven't been on the board so much - just not logging in, no real reason. I am my normal busy - did a quilt show this past Saturday. Our little town has a yearly street fair and part of it is the quilt show. I'm not a judge or anything, and the ribbons are awarded through viewer's choice. One of my quilts took the first place - kinda nice to know the public likes your work. I do a bed turning for them every year with some of my mother's quilts and some of mine. One year, I got 2 or 3 from friends and included them, but this year it was just mine.
Went grocery shopping and made a point of picking up more fruit for me to eat. My weight is still coming down, so anything I can do to continue is helpful. That'll be our Teriffic Tuesday (on Wednesday) is to add fruit to your diet.
Here's picture of my quilt that won --

Pam, I will pray for you and your sister. Sisters are so special and a twin even more so. Tell her that's not a good way to win your weight loss competition.

Kathleen, your quilt is beautiful. I can see why it was a winner. It's apple time. My GD picked me five big bags. I returned three to her, but will be working on the rest. The stores have good local apples at a great price, too, so I can have a variety.

CindyA, sorry you are ill. That's not a good way to lose weight, either.

I made potato soup for a friend today and saved one bowl full for me. It is so good - new redskins so I just left the skins on.

Pam I have prayed for your dear sister.

I went today back to Cardiologist, and the good news was my heart tests are all ok. I guess it is my lungs, but I am taking my meds for that.

    Congratulations Vanogay.
