Ambidextrous doesn't necessarily refer to just writing...it is the equal usage of both hands. My older brother is ambidextrous. It is fun to watch him doing carpentry work...if one hand gets tired from using the saw, or hammer, he simply switches hands...doesn't miss a beat!!! Same if he is splitting wood...he can swing the axe from either side.

I don't know. I think it goes both ways at times, but that can be a topic somewhere else.
But, I have heard of people in the military getting orders, complaining sooooo much that they eventually get what they want. Sure wish that was us!!

Pat is pretty good using both hands. We think he's a retrained lefty. My favorite saying: "I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous." lol

I like the sound of this word, too. Hard to drop it into ordinary conversation, though.

Mousie's tummy gets borborygmus quite often, but thankfully tummy meds calm the um...after effects!

sotto voce : means under your breath.
(one of my favorite phrases! I love it's musical sound  )...unlike borborygmus and other end of the species

Gewgaw: A showy trinket or bauble, as in, "Merchants are trying to lure holiday shoppers into stores full of useless gewgaws."
