I have a pair of SAS too. They felt great the moment I left the store. When I went to another SAS store recently to purchase another pair (have had my old ones for two years or more) the lady told me that the other store sold me men's shoes. She said that particular store does that sometimes. I was shocked thinking I had been wearing men's shoes all this time. But you know, she did me a favor because they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I might add that 34 years ago I had surgery on both feet that did not turn out well. I have had difficulty purchasing shoes that I could wear until I got SAS.

I am diabetic as well, and no issues from doing this with my shoes.
Happy it is working out for you all...

I love it, borntoquilt!! Our Wranglers always went to the dry cleaners for a good press and starched seams! I tried that when I first moved to Kentucky. They had no idea what I was talking about and told me they couldn't do it... :(
