    Lol. I am doing......

Functions, Lines, Systems, Slopes and the Y- Intercept, Graphing the Slope and Y- Intercept, Solving for Y and getting it alone, Detemining a function rule, Making a Function Rule, using the function rule to answer the question, Domain and Range and the Values of the range and the graphic representation of a function.

I started my Final Math Test on this today and have been studying NON-STOP!!! I am getting the hang of it. There are just a few things that are being squirrly. Lol.
So far I think I have ACED It!!! YAYYY!! :D

Math! Ugh! I always had a hard time with it... Didn't mind moving all those numbers around but to come up with the correct answer?

My Mom, on the other hand has the brains for that kind of stuff. I wish I inherited THAT from her. She loved doing word problems - I couldn't barely get my head around it. The basics I'm really fine with; after that....

"My DGD is learning to read in kindergarten. What happened to learning your ABCs and counting."

The politicians got involved and decided they knew better that the teachers and parents what would be developmentally appropriate for children.

As a retired teacher, I am in favor of kids being kids and playing, but the reality of it is, they can't play freely like we did when I was young and carefree! It just isn't safe! I think homework is way overrated! Way too much is expected before they enter school with Baby Einstein and computer programs, etc. Don't get me started on Beauty Pageants for preschoolers! If a child really wants to learn something, I think it is okay to be exposed, but how much of this is for the parents and not the child! There are age appropriate activities, but more is being pushed all the time, and nothing is ever taken away! Children do need more attention from parents and care givers. I would like to see more moms be able to be stay at home parents and more intact families, but I am a dinosaur! :?

I can't wait for school to be out either!! Lol. The homework I get is really overrated! I just finished another English project! AHHH!! It's driving me insane! But some of the teachers in my school are getting laid off and are already looking for a new job. It's sad but some of the teachers, I don't really like. They assign to much homework! Lol.
