Oh No not Peanut Butter...........
#81
Heard this on the news last night. DH is planning a run to Sam's Club this afternoon to load up on his winter's supply of peanut butter. (Kind of like a squirrel putting up nuts for winter) We eat peanut butter daily and save the empty jars for storing things in my husbands workshop. DGD walked in there this summer on her visit, turned to me and said "you people eat entirely too much peanut butter". We just laughed. We have it every morning on toast and every evening on a graham cracker. Ann in TN

Peanut butter has always been an inexpensive source of protein. It's sad that the price will be going up. I'm sure that includes all peanuts and peanut products. I love peanut butter toast for breakfast and peanut butter and bacon sandwiches.

Well, I cannot eat peanut butter anymore but my dog loves it. I have several jars in the pantry now but maybe I had better get a few more while I can. I am in NC and our local power supplier is raising their fees by something like 18%. I do not know what people who are on fixed or "no" income will do. Guess we will be wearing lots of sweaters in the winter and maybe next to nothing in the summer. I have one dog and am in the process of getting another so I guess we will be having a "Two Dog Night" this winter. Oh and you should hear what the current profits were for this company!!!
