    Nanjun,
Earth shoes have a heel set in just a little bit lower than the rest of the foot. For me, that helps so that the weight is not across the front of the foot where I feel like I am walking on the bones, if that makes any sense. And the Birkies mold to your feet so that is great, also. You do have to break them in, though. :-D

They look comfy! I hope that you love them.

I only wear Birkenstocks, usually Gizeh sandals and the price keeps going up but I wear them for years, so far I had 2 pair resoled once. But if I had been buying Payless or some other inexpensive shoes, I would be replacing them all the time and the cost of that would add up, and my feet would be killing me. Oh I did have a pair of Clarks once and liked them too. I am NOT a shoe person like lots of women are.

Comfort is king, even for a queen....pay more and save your feet, your back, and more.

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA

I have a pair of SAS sandals I bought last year. When I tried the SAS pair on the were SO COMFORTABLE I said "I'll take them!" Not even know how much they cost. Didn't regret it.

Today I tried on a pair of Klogs but have to think about the $90 it costs.

Hmmm... wondering if I can pass Berkies off as office shoes.....
I, too, wear Birkenstocks which are quite expensive but they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and got them after paying $480 for some orthodics to put in my shoes and not getting alot of relief for my sore arthritic feet. The Birks were like a gift from God! I can wear them all day, walk miles in them and still my feet are comfortable. The Birks are the only shoes I buy and I'm on my 5th or 6th pair. I've had them resoled and I was surprized after the first time I sent them in to be resoled that they came back looking JUST LIKE BRAND NEW! The original cost of the Birks I buy are between $107 and $129 and to have them resoled they charge $60. They are great shoes.
