They look massively comfortable! And stylish too! I would hate to kick out that kinda $$$ but if you're anything like me & they really are as comfortable as they look, I'd wear them til they're fall'n off my feet :) They'll probably last a good 3-5yrs easy! If you think of them that way it's $30 a yr or less :) And how many of su buy at least one pair of new shoes every year...

Remember the days when a person really only owned one or two pair a shoes!?!

If they make your feet feel good, then they are worth their weight in gold.

I only buy Birkenstocks for my feet. I have so much trouble with other kinds of shoes that I don't even bother. Birckenstock makes a soft-foot bed shoe that is like walking on clouds. I only own 4 pair of shoes and they are all Birkies, 3 of them the softbeds.

I work 12 hour night shifts in a hospital and am on my feet constantly. Without my Birkenstocks, I would be in misery. My shoes last me well over 5 years and that is why I don't mind paying $100 for them.

I have some in a different style (think dressy jeans shoe). Got them at walmart for about 25 bucks. You might check there as mine carries about 4 -5 styles.

I had a pair of Birkenstocks for twenty years - re-soled twice, but just as comfortable as going barefoot. They cost a pretty penny, too, but if they feel good and last a long time, it's worth it. It's not like you are buying a different pair for every day of the week, is it?

Hmmm... wondering if I can pass Berkies off as office shoes.....

I love them! I spend that much on good quality sandals. If your feet hurt it affects your whole day. You seem like a very fun lady and you deserve to have nice sandals! Enjoy!

UH, well, I pay that and much more for a pair of shoes. I don't buy a lot of shoes but what I do have fit me perfectly and last me for years. I can walk all day in all of them even the dressy ones.
