I knew a lady once who got her car caught on the train tracks between the crossing guards. She sat there waiting for it to open, convinced that the train would stop for her. A man in another car beeped and yelled at her and finally ran to her car door and yanked her out. The train smashed her car.

Admittedly I did not go to the link. However, had a conversation earlier this evening with someone. Short explanation...DH and I fly hot air balloons. Passenger tonight saw a huge buck that was obviously scared by the noise. He ended up running through corn fields and ended up with stalks/corn cobs in his 'rack'. BUT the conversation centered around being in a densely populated area (as we are and fly in) and the deer in this area get to the streets and look in both directions for traffic! Have watched it happen. In our town they have rule of the road. When I was commuting I had to wait for the herds to cross the roads in order to progress on my way. They had right of way.

I agree, ROTFLOL. It is amazing, but there does seem to be an amazing lack of common sense these days. I have to give it to the radio people that they were able to be so polite and not laugh at her while she was on the air. I know they laughed afterwards.

I do know that wildlife should be given the right of way if possible. They have burro crossing signs in Red Rock Canyon for the wild burros.

When I lived in the SF Bay area, I heard about a motorcyclist who was killed when a deer tried to jump over him from a hillside on the freeway between San Jose and Santa Cruz.

    This idiot needs:
    1. To have her license revoked.
    2. Her head examined.
    3. Put into an institution. And not to mention...she scares me to death, between laughing at this and her.

They are real (I've met some of them) and they breed and what's worse is that they VOTE!

Sorry, bjrusty. Where I work we see and hear this type of "stupdity" all the time. Scary with the election coming up to realize that these people vote!

I watched the first video and there was a link to a follow up call from 'Donna' and by then she had had this explained to her that the signs were for the drivers! She was for real and did not understand the purpose of the signs! LOL!
There are some people who just don't understand! My personal pet peeve are the people who don't like hunting because they think that you should shop at the grocery store like everyone else 'because they are professionals there and NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED! Where do they think the meat comes from? People have gotten too separated from their food and do not understand how it gets to the grocery store!

I agree with Kathleen. They have no life experience with wild animals and where their food really comes from.

Incredible! I think they should look her up and put a warning sign on her car telling the deer she's coming! Hahaha! How stupid can you be???????
