Mine was here when I got home from work. My first from Hancock's. I was surprised at how large it is.

I just looked and signed up for the catalogue. They ship to Canada and they have so many amazing batiks. I might finally find the ones I need for some patterns my DD bought when I dragged her along to a quilt show. They also had scrapbooking stuff there so she wasn't too mad at me.

Mine has a thing on the back that says, "Order from this new catalog by Feb.5th and take 10% off your order. Mention Code "DM110101". Order over $200 and shipping is free (US only). All I got to say is how hard is that if you are ordering Batiks?!?!?! I think I just fell off my spending diet. I have never seen a fabric catalog laid out like this. I think you have to pick out a pattern first and then go through the fabrics, kinda the reverse of what I usually seem to do. The website is awesome too. I didn't know where to start last night. I was on overload anyway, so will have to check it out when my brain can digest it all.

You can also access the catalogue online
    http://content.yudu.com/A1qigv/Vol54...rces/index.htm

but isn't quite the same as having The Wish Book in your hands, cozying up with a cup of tea in front of the fireplace, and browsing through the pages, is it?

Oh!!!! I am such a weak person!!! I just checked their web specials and ended up ordering $242 worth of stuff. Got free shipping and a 10% discount. Everything I ordered was on sale too. My wallet may be thinner but I am not. I can't wait to see the stuff! I wonder how long it will take to come. Oh well, it gives me incentive to finish up WIPs so I can start on some new projects with all this fine fabric   :?

I signed up for a catalog on-line quite awhile ago and thought they had forgotten me, but like the rest of you, it arrived this past week. I was happy to read the positive response of Bookladt about ordering from them. So often the pictures and products are worlds apart. Did someone once write they are slow in sending what you have ordered? Perhaps it wasn't Hancock's. Certainly don't want to tarnish their reputation unknowingly.

I love their catalog, too -- I pour over it. I've also cut out pics of fabrics to make necklaces like this:

Just another way to enjoy fabric!
