One procedure down...
#1
... one to go...
I have a-fib (at 36 yo - yeah, I know, I'm young to have it), and really heavy periods. Because of the blood thinners that I'll be put on later, and the really heavy periods (and I can't take "the pill" while on the blood thinner), I had the Novasure procedure done (uterine ablation). I was in and out. It was outpatient procedure. The pain/discomfort afterwards was no worse than giving birth. The worst part was the "cotton mouth" after surgery. The next day I felt great, just thirsty.
My next procedure will be the atrial ablation to get rid of the a-fib and the meds. The meds have caused fatigue that I can no longer live with, especially with 4 young kids.
So I'm feeling great. Looking forward to being off meds and getting my life back to my crazy mixed-up version of "normal".

Kara - Praying that everything goes as planned and you can get back to normal. Although, what IS normal when you are raising 4 little ones? I can only imagine - my 2 are all I can handle :D :D
