If you have the ability have it off to the side.

If it pops up and we say no , can we get it back later if we suddenly need help ? Sometimes I want to look and see what is available, then if I can't find it ask for help

I'd have to admit that I dislike and distrust pop-ups most all the time.
I think it might be cool to have a "real personal assistant", I think you are on the right track!

I think it's a great idea. I love this option on other sites.

I don't know how all of them work, but basically we can push an "invitation" to chat, then it's up to the customer to start the chat by clicking on the start chat button, or the chat icon on our store pages. So yes, you can ignore the invitation and later start the chat anytime you wish. Good question! :D

I love sites that offer online chat. I've never seen a pop-up one though. Good idea!!

I really hate pop-ups, but if there were a menu option or sidebar where I could chat if I needed to, that would be nice. I just don't want to have to tell it NO when it pops up in front of me. System's too slow as it is without adding more "reply" options that I might not need. It should definitely indicate whether there is someone there to chat with.
