I have a front loader. they use less water for washing and rinsing. i can set the time limit on the cycle depending one the kind of load it is.
I've worn this one out, and am shopping for another.

Edit: Oh, one regret? We didn't buy the pedestals for them. It's not a huge deal, we're young and (somewhat) limber, but I can see now that the extra $ for the pedestals would have been worth it.
