Ordered new glasses thanks to puppy!

I had to order new glasses after work today. Seems that Bella decided that she was supposed to get my case off the night stand and destroy that and the eyeglass lenses too! Apparently she isn't interested in $12 sneakers or any of DH's socks he leaves on the floor (that may be smart on her part though). Ordered a pair of just reading glasses too as a little insurance in case she decides to try it again.
She must know that she did a bad thing because she keeps bringing her toys to me where ever I am and putting them at my feet giving me that "I'm sorry do you still love me mommy" look. I still love her though.

puppies will be puppies!! you learn fast to keep everything up and away from them. One time I had just served dinner, my hubby got up for some reason and our dog walked right over and took his piece of ham steak I had fixed for him!!!
That same puppy actually ate my hubbies glasses as well. No idea why they taste so good...
Our little girls now are too little to get into much : ) thank goodness.

I bought 2 brand new pairs of nursing shoes, the kind that are soft and squishy like crocks. Didn't have any dogs at the time. Took them out of their boxes, put them by the back door and the next morning 1 shoe of each pair had been completely chewed up by one of my CATS!!!

And some of them never get over it! Our 6 year old "Heidi" still steals our socks, mittens(in the winter) and my flip-flops in the summer. The only thing she destroys is the flip-flops, though. Interesting how they seem to gravitate to particular things, isn't it?

I had the same thing happen right after we got our two current dogs. I still don't know which one wass to blame. Maybe it was both. LOL But I learned my lesson. Now I put my glasses in a drawer when I'm not wearing them.

My first Saint Bernard had a real thing for my glasses. I went through 3 pair in the first year. I finally remembered to use the drawer on the night stand.
On the funny side I had two litter mate Saints... one day I was mowing the lawn but had left the back door open . As I came to mow the back lawn there was all this white "stuff" on the lawn. Well I had left a basket of laundry at the stairs and they were bringing it out onto the lawn piece by piece and playing tug. My neighbors had all stopped what they were doing to see what was going to come out next. I was so embarrased. Did I mention the laundy was "whites"?!....
