Our 8 older girls free range all day. They look forward to see me coming in the morning. They all make a mad dash for the door.
Yes, love the little ones. I couldn't resist them when I saw them.
DH is currently building us a larger coop.
I told him, "you know that the more room they have, I'll keep getting a few more each spring" 8-)

They are just the cutest!!!!! Good luck with them. I live in Maine and it is a bit cold here so I don't have any chicks. When I lived in NJ I had 72 chickens, divided into two flocks and a year apart in age. We had them for the eggs. However, my daughters made a pet out of one of them. LOL

OMG they are sooo cute! I'm definitely not a city girl but I've never heard of them either. I love the silkie ... unfortunately we have coyotes, opposums, and other varmits where I live so no go on the chicks and I need another pet like I need another hole in my head LOL waaayy to many now. I too would love to watch them grow so keep up the pics.

Atwoods has chicks in their ad this week. When I get to move to the farm, I'm getting some Dominickers. I think they are so pretty. I also don't have a clue how to take care of them either. What kind are your babies?

Just looked back & saw page 2. They are beautiful. I bet they cost a fortune. Are they considered exotic?
