They are so cute and I love the idea of having chickens and a rooster. The reality is, I don't live in the country. I don't get up early in the morning and my dh would surely say no. Oh well, if you post pics I can live vicariously through you:-)

Another city girl here. .. I have never seen chickens like these.. Those silkies are the funniest chickens ever! and I love that Fuzzie one.. oh my.. I thought chickens came brown or white.. or colored like a poster rooster.. silly me, you'd think I'd know better! Thanks for posting the 'grown up' pictures.. I was wondering about the blue too.. glad someone asked and you answered.

Thanks for posting this. Just looking at them has improved my frame of mind. I remember my grandmother's chicks when I was a kid. We were not allowed to play with them, which was disappointing to say the least.

They are sitting on a pincushion chair. They are very tiny.
Elizabeth is the smallest at about 2 1/2" tall, weighs just about 2 - 3 ounces.

I don't think they are considered exotic.
I paid $2.60 for each chick at our local feed store.
He carries them year round. He told me that he's been in the chick business for 30 years.
Here are some new pics, they are being held by DD,8.
