One of my friends g'sons asked why so many of the men were dressed like Michael Jackson!

I missed my chance -- I think I should have gotten a paper saucer ,a black flower and feather from Lowe's to make myself a hat to plunk on the side of my head to wear with my exercise clothes that morning. We had a good chat at coffee that morning......

It's the ones plunked on the front of the forehead that made me laugh. I heard Martha McCollum call them "facilitators". Facilitate what? Working to keep your balance?

They are called Facinators, facinate who? Although some of them were lovely, and I especially thought Posh (Victoria Beckham) looked stunning in hers

Some of the hats were beautiful but a lot of them looked totally ridiculous. They would have to pound a nail thru the hat into my head to get one of those to stay on me hahaha. My hair is way too fine and now thinning to be able to use a hat pin or whatever they use to keep them on at such weird angles. Whatever happened to putting a hat on TOP of your head???? :-D
