I was earching for the perfect place to hang a welcome wreath I was given by someone. I wanted to put it in a place where it would be seen as you enter the house. It is a cute little wreath with a girl sitting in the middle surrounded by flowers and says WELCOME accross the bottom. Well, the only place that works is the wall that has my bathroom door directly across from the main entrance. So that's where I hung it.
My young gd came to visit, and saw the wreath. She told me, "Grandma, of course people have to be welcome. You couldn't have them come visit and not be expected to use the bathroom when they need to!!" I guess the moral of the story is, be careful where you hang things on your walls!
Gotta love what goes through those little minds!

I've had a welcome on mine for years. The architecture of the house has a big archway creating an alcove entrance to it so I also put a floral garland framing the archway! Might as well...

This is so refreshing! I needed something to laugh about this morning. I live in Smithville, Tx where wildfire area is. We have 3 shelters for evacuees from the fires. So sad Monday to see faces of the people. Fire is 30% contained, but hot spots flaring up. Thanks for the smile.
