It was fun, but none of us had a camera
I will try and take pics of some of the things I bought. We had a great time and the food was wonderful. It was an Amish Shop and they had quilts all over the place including a huge "Card Trick" Quilt with the blocks made like a log cabin. I fell in love with it!
I don't know about the rest, but I went totally way over budget on the trip! But had a wonderful time doing so.
I ended up with a suitcase full of fabric. The only thing I was disapointed about was I wanted to pick up some "sewing/quilting" theme mugs for gifts and couldn't find any.
Thanks to turtlerouge for doing all the driving. I was staying outside of Altoona and she even brought me home.
Charlie used to work for Joann's so she was a huge help in picking out colors and patterns.
I will definitely do this again! It was a lot of fun and I met two wonderful friends!

I couldn't make it this time but I'm sure you all had a great time. What would you think about coming this way to eastern Pa. and we could do our own little shop hop. I have a few differrent directions with great shops, with one of them being toward Amish country.

This is similar to the quilt I saw in the Amish shop. The one we saw used darker colors instead of the light ones on the background.
