Love it!! Thanks for sharing. I'm glad to hear you had a good visit....that really is the best part of your story. But I have to confess, I was hoping to see a pic of the elk. We camp every year at Prairie Creek and I LOVE watching the Roosevelt Elk!!!

My DD and SIL came to see us for a week. It had been ten years since we'd seen one another. We took them out to walk among the giant redwoods, to see the great waters of the Pacific and to view the Roosevelt Elk (very young ones this round). Out of a few hundred pics, I found some to share of me, my daughter and her hubby. I hope you will enjoy them. Obviously we had a wonderful time. the two here are of the pacific. I could not get the others to download, so will try again in a few.

Was in CA in the 90's-beautiful place, but I have found each place has its own beauty. Love the beauty of all the places I have been.

Goat Rock, Schoolhouse Beach, Salmon Creek.
Gosh you make me home sick. My sister got married at The Tides a couple years ago. Had a ball visiting the old haunts!! I found one of the things I miss is the smell of the eucalyptus trees.
