My doctor says you are suffering from depression if you don't get dressed everydsy. This is why people in nursing homes are dressed daily. I always dress, make the bed, & do the dishes. Then my day is whatever excites me.

I left my reg. job when our youngest graduated in 02 to help start our own business which is trucking. I thought OH GOD help me. Well needless to say I loved my old job better, but now I have 3 gd's and another grandbaby on the way, and love Saturday's when the gd's stay because we stay in our jammies until the oldest wants to get dressed and that is usually not at all. Wish that they could be with me everyday and never get dressed. I can't wait till retirement and hopefully stay in sweats all day if I so chose.

I absolutely love retirement. I do get dressed every morning so no pajama days for me but I do have to get out a lot and help my Mom and Dad.

After years of having to "dress" for the job, I love being able to wear my old sloppys around.

I envy you so much- I'd love those laid back pj days... but my DH is out of bed at 5:30 - into his britches and loves early breakfast and out to check his cows and I doubt he'll ever really retire.. I was retired before I met him and loved being in those pj days, but somehow cupid struck us both, and so here I am - no pj days here! But, love my life on teh farm so I guess it is a fair trade - but enjoy it to the max! Life is short - make the most of what you enjoy doing!
