@Izaquilter: Been where you are at, done it also. I got my act together by joining the Red Hat Society and starting my own chapter. You can meet other ladies, go to different events and just have fun! There are also other fun friendly organizations you can join if you just look around. There are many women in your position as I was once. Just had to pull myself out of it and get out of the house. Hope you opt to do the same. You will be in my thoughts.

Thanks, but right now, I'm LOVING this lifestyle. My BGF just came this morning (BarbaraTx) but she is used to the seeing pj's. I have often thought the Red Hat thing would be fun..........just not feeling the need to broaden my horizons now, 'cause I'm really loving being a homebody.
We lived in Germany for a few years and traveled to all the countries we could manage..........and with DS being an airline pilot, airfare is not an issue for us........we're just "tired" and prefer staying at home. We do have these very close friends, and we have lots of fun when we're together.

Isn't it amazing how much we enjoy being home. I do the red hat thing but love being home also. Got it made, fun friends and and do my home hermit in between lunches. Ya gotta love it.

I read your story and could so relate to jammie days. I've been disables for several years but this past winter became a jammie person, staying up late and sleeping too. I ejoy the freedom of appointments and spending my spare time making charity qilts, putting outside but enjoying having a man cut the lawn now.

The portion of my live that deviates from yours is the companionship you, your DH, Dear friends and family still have and cherish. I'm so happpy you and your DH have jammie days, outings and fun days to love, laugh, live and enjoy each other, cherish each one.

    God Bless you both... :-D

I am a stay at home wife but when my DH comes in from a long job away from home, we both try to have a couple of Jammie days as soon as he gets in. We do projects or just lounge around watching movies, I always have food ready to munch on & jacking our jaws & it is a blast! He has no problem with me staying in my Jammies anytime I want. We raised 4 very busy kids so when they were home, I seldom got to stay in my jammies until 8am, so I now make up for it.
