Panity liners pattern

Thanks for the info and the link. I had wondered about making my own, especially in this day and age of disposable everything. Hey, if our grandparents could use it, why can't we? Now to figure out my supplies!

Here are some sites for pads I located by doing a search for "moon pads." In some circles, that "time of month" is known as "moon time" as in the olden days, women's cycles were influenced by the moon. We would all have our "moontime" during the new moon. This made us most fertile at the full moon. Nowadays, our cycles are no longer in this rhythm for many reasons (I'll refrain from going into them!)

I made some for my mom used a panty liner for a pattern, used several thicknesses of flannel and a rubber mattress pad for the middle. Then I just sewed them into her panties using a large basting stitch. Washed/dried them as usual. She was allergic to pads/depends.
