Default Panto has finished (oh yes it has!)

Well, the Panto has finished, the costumes have been washed and stored for the next time, and I find myself with my Friday and Sunday evenings free again.

Since September we have been rehearsing this Panto - Babes in the Wood - with me stressing over lines, and making my own dress. We completed 5 shows over four days, and this week I have spent doing very little, trying to recover. I have absolutely loved it, but now find myself at a loose end again.

Perhaps it is time to get the sewing machine out and do some quilting. The snow is forecast for this week, and so I might just tuck myself in the warm and get quilting again!

I think these were taken at the dress rehersal, as some of the scenery isn't finished.

Just so you know that I do other things with my time, not just quilting...

Good for you looks like a lot of fun but also know its lots of work. I would love to be able to go somewhere and do a stand up comedy routine someday

I have had SOOO much fun. We had about 800 people in total come to see us over the four days with four out of the five performances sold out. Not bad for an amateur dramatic society! But we had an absolute blast - so much fun!

Thank you for all the kind comments about the costume! I looked like a bar code on stage - those stripes really made your eyes go funny! But I am sure we can use it again sometime. Not sure about the wig, though!
