Here our two, Coal, a mini long haired black and tan dachshund has both types of hair from his parents, a long hair x short haired cross, weighs about 7 lbs. The long hair is on his ears, elbows and around his rear end and has what my daughter calls his lion's ruff. He loves to chase lizards with his companion . Sugarfoot is his companion and she is a long haired dachshund. She is supposed to be a mini but she is a little larger than Coal. She also weighs a little more than he does. She is a piebald with a white body with 5 big black polka dots on her body. Two are on the diagonal with squiggle of black in between them , making it look like a pair of spectacles. Underneath, she has lots of black spots , almost a Dalmatian look. Her face mask is black and tan with a line of white going up between the eyes to the back of the head and down into her coat. She also likes to chase lizards and even catches one or two from time to time. They both like to go for walks, love to greet a fellow who parks his big rig near our house. If they are outside when he walks to his rig, they run out to say hi to him.

Daughter has a golden retriever - Wrigley. My husband's dog is a Labradoodle - Indiana Henrietta Jones, Jr - Indy for short (he is a BIG Indiana Jones fan). My dog is a black Mini Goldendoodle - Black Magic Woman - Magic for short. The Golden Retriever is usually at college with my daughter and we really notice the difference when he is home. Dog hair everywhere! Love having the no-shed dogs - after over 30 years of Goldens that shed.

1 fur baby (we don't have any dogs or animals at our house) who my grandson said is the most spoiled dog in the world. It's probably true. She runs the house. I believe she has OCD. She has a very strict schedule, and hates it if we force her to change it. She let's us know when it is time to eat dinner and go to bed. She does everything with us. The only thing she hates is when we go camping without electricity, cause her heated bed doesn't work. She only uses that for naps though, cause she sleeps with us. She is very loving as long as we do what she wants us to do, when she wants us to do it. Sounds like a horrible fur baby, but she is so much fun and has such a "run the show" personality (even if she only weighs 4.8 pounds) that we have so much fun with her, and love her tremendously.
