Had to go to Joplin to Petsmart today. First time I have been over there since the tornado. My gosh, it's just piles of rubble! You just wouldn't believe!
Just had to take a pic of the JoAnn's store. Don't think I will be shopping there anytime soon! The white you see through the windows is SKY! There is no roof or back walls. Sorry the pic is not so good, but it's hard to drive and take a picture and not run into anybody.
I heard from a clerk at the JoAnns in Fayetteville, AR that they were already planning to build a new building in Joplin before the tornado hit, and it's going to be bigger and better than the one that was there. YAY!!! I also heard that the company was extremely considerate of the employees and has taken good care of them financially and in other ways. That's really good to hear!

I hope it's true that the company is taking care of the employees. So often these chains think of their employees as indentured servants! That makes me want to shop at JoAnn's a little more often. I try to give my LQS my business for fabric, but I usually use my coupons for batting and incidentals.

Thank you for sharing the photo. I read in the Jolpin newspaper how everyone gathered with the manager and the soft walls protected them from harm. Blessings in the mist of bad weather conditions. Thanks to the Man above, Ruler of all things.
