I've started to do this a few times a week to see how it goes. I MAY switch over to this full time, I've still got to do some research.
Here's a great site:

They have cat "recipes" too.

I've had to give my pets homemade chicken and rice meals while they're sick. My vet said not to do it fulltime as it's unbalanced. I wonder what he has to say about that after the Chinese food incident. I should ask. lol

Congratulations on your new baby!!!
I just have to say that Chico has an absolutely Gorgeous head and stunning square muzzle. We exhibited boxers across the US and Canada and bred for several years...we still have a houseful! (: Our dogs have their own website at iconboxers.com
It's great that Chico's got a nice big fawn spot and nice black nose, the more color in the coat, eyes and nose the less likely he was to be deaf. So it could be that the fawn spot on his head is more than simply cute!
The type of deafness in white boxers is actually caused by the lack of pigmentation. That lack of coloring can cause a loss of sensory hair cells in the inner ear canal. It's those very fine hairs that facilitate hearing. Sound vibrations contact the sensory hairs, the vibrations turn into signals that are perceived by the brain as sound. For some reason in white puppies these hair cells can be lost at around 6-8 weeks of age, and they cannot regenerate so deafness can occur. This happens with about 20% of the white puppies.
Boxers are a wonderful, happy breed that especially love children. You have a fabulous new family member and years of happiness ahead.
