The little guys do lots of good but like many people has stated, I'm afraid of them, too. My uncle tells stories about being dive bombed by bats when he got home from the swing shift in the mines in Minnesota years ago. He carried an umbrella to use going from his car to the house at midnight. :lol:

Amadeus, my pet bat for the last 3 years, has died. :(
He was killed yesterday(Friday) evening by an owl. I was washing dishes at the sink as the sun had started to go down and I saw my little bat enjoying some bugs that were congregating around my back porch light and the next thing I know I see an owl swoop in, hear a high pitch sound and then nothing. I didnt see my bat anymore. I looked for him this morning (Saturday) in the window and he is not there. :( So the owl ate Amadeus. :(
