I have been hand-dyeing and selling at street fairs: bamboo socks and quilting fabric. Really enjoy doing it!

    excellent job.

i like the bottom purple fabric. it would be interesting to continue with the radiating design by laying on other colors as the design radiates out to the edges of the fabric.

how did you fold the fabric to achieve the concentration only in the center?

Excellent! I was at the shoe store last weekend and saw tie dyed socks and almost grabbed some, but the line was long and I didn't feel like waiting. I like yours better.

Oh cool socks. How did you do that? My grandkids would love them and me to. I love colorful socks. The pink and white ones would be perfect for the 3 day breast cancer 60 miles walk I will be doing in October.

Oh how fun! I did tye dying like that when I was in college....back in the 70s...ancient history. I think if you wash the socks with a "color catcher' each time there shouldn't be a problem. Those are adorable.
