have fun making them. i just made some for my youngest Granddtr from a little kit bought at my LQS of owl fabric. Very cute. not the hot dog method but i zig zagged my seam just fine. also stitched a decorative stitch on the accent folded over fabric. the folded edge tends to curl up in the wash.

This is the best I've ever seen - another Jenny Doan of MSQC. She has a tutorial and I guarantee you'll be inspired. Go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrYWCma9wgM

The only tip I would add is watch the fabric you choose. I've picked some that made nice pillow cases but we're rough to lay that precious little cheek on!

http://kickasscountrystore.com/hotdog.html This is a link to the best and easiest pillowcases that I have found. The diagrams and directions are simple and clear. Our guild has made dozens following these Canadian directions. The only change that I make is that I like a wider cuff so cut it between 10" and 12".

This is just like the Jenny Doan Tute. Nice to have it in print though. Thanks for sharing.
