That reminds me of a house I toured when I was house-hunting. One bathroom was robins-egg blue with yellow. The toilet was the blue and the tile was yellow. Then the master bath was Barbie pink tile with turquoise tub and toilet. I was trying to get away from the turquoise toilet and tub in my old house so that house wasn't for me.

My grandmother would have LOVED it! She painted everything inside her house pink, including her countertops (before everyone knew you could paint laminate). She also put in a "tweed" type carpet -- with pink, orange, purple and other colors. Yip - her house was SOOOOO interesting  Ironically, the outside was always white!

My 1950 neighborhood originally came with all pink, blue or yellow kitchen and bathrooms. No one mixed it up by choosing a different color for the baths than the kitchen. I always thought that was interesting.
We do currently have a really dark red washer and dryer being sold everywhere in the states. My friend said she saw the same set in dark blue also. I'd rather have avocado or harvest gold than those DARK colors.
