    Have a great time...on the other side of the island is the Audobon State Park...it is a nature trail, with waterfalls, flowers, trees, and some very bold peacocks near the food area. They are total beggars and the ladies behind the counter come out and shuu them away...
    This place is off the beaten path but well worth the drive.

    Which island? At one of the larger hotels on Maui, there is a shop that sells items made by local women, and the store owner will even give you a quick lesson if she's not too busy.

    Have a great time! It is beautiful there. What floored me about Hawaii is there aren't doors to hotels like we have here.

    The mall in Honalulu is nice.

    You are just about an hour away from me! Definately need to do lunch and maybe meet halfway and hit the quilt shop in Owego!

    Which island(s), Deb???? I'm so jealous! I LOVE Hawaii. I did Oahu and The Big Island. And have wanted to go back ever since. Have you been before?
