Great memories for those kids! Don't let them fool you.

DH & I visited your lovely state 2 years ago. It was great! We went to that quilt shop too, by Gooseberry state park. OMG! It would make a great quilt retreat. We camped at Burlington Bay(?) campground, northeast of Duluth - right on the shore. I'd go back anytime.

    Thanks for sharing.

Courtney still remembers the sign....Be Nice, You Are In Minnesota. lol
You probably came through Superior Wisconsin which is the Wisconsin "side" of Duluth - although I'm sure the Wisconsiners on the board will feel that Duluth is the MN side of Superior!

Yup, that's what it is all about, MN Nice....

I asked the owner if she coordinated with the cabin place to do quilt retreats but she said no although she does have tons of people come and stay at the cabins for retreats and shop her shop! It would be heaven on earth for me!

Gosh, I'm remembering that I bought a charm kit there. It wasn't what I normally would buy, but wanted a souvineer. I made it up and use it now as a wall hanging in our camper.

That is really pretty! Perfect for a souvenier piece and in the camper!
