I just had time this morning to browse thru the "Pictures" thread ...... and logged out to get a bit of stuff done! ... Well, I had good intentions ....
Seems that every time I "log out" I remember that I had not checked "general chit-chat" ... So I dropped back in just to scan topics ..... and darn! This post was just too darned cute NOT to log back in to congratulate your efforts!
Yes! Beautiful work ..... and such a burst of very clever creativity...
I love your color combination .... and you achieved such a wonderful Hunny-pot shape. If the yellow is less poofed-up and more squat, I think it will have a that crockpot-top look? What I mean, is in the third picture, if you just pull the yellow bottom fabric more over the edge and have the gathered part of the yellow be the "knob" of the pot .... am I making sense?
Really, it is darling .... There is NOTHING on here to "pick-at" ... :D Come to think of it, your posts always have such wonderfully executed projects we can't find enough superlatives to avoid being redundant ......
Lucky GD is going to be all smiles ..... and full of giggles ... what fun! For BOTH of you ....
Thanks for posting.
