Pressure cooker

I have two also, a 4 qt. and 6 qt. I use the larger one for whole chickens to make stewed chicken & dumplings. I even put the frozen chicken in there, just cook a little longer. Pull chicken off the bones, add water, season and I have the works for cooking dumplings. Love it, saves lots of time. Cooks potatoes, quartered, in 10 mins or so. Just read instructions carefully and heed them. Love this board!!!!!!!! Mary

I have an electric one and I love it!
Mine has a brown feature, pressure cooker features, and a slow cook (like crock pot) feature. It even moves itself to "warm" when the cooking is done.
I love cooking in it, and use it at least once a week.
Mine came with a recipe booklet, but I also look online. I google pressure cooker recipes.

Does yours come with a cookbook? If not, there are some out there and they are very helpful for ideas. Which one did you order?

I have an electric presure cooker and I could not live with out it, I use it about 3 times a week, for everything I just brown my meat first. when i did a pork roast that never seemed to get tender in the oven I tossed it in the cooker and wala the water steamed off and the meat drippings browned my meat for me and it was delicious.
