I didn't know much about him. I would like to think he didn't use illegal drugs. Always try to think the best.

I didn't realize how much of a fan I really was until radio and television started his music the last few days. Love it.

What really got to me was NBC cutting into regular programming to announce this. I mean, really? Was this a King, or Chancellor, or some big leader of a country? A person of great importance to the world? I think not.

I agree, do we need to know every detail told over and over again? He is gone, let him rest.

Prince was not a drug addict.

He may not have been a chancellor or a king, but he was a VERY popular singer as noted by all the people who knew of him and cared for his music. I bet he was far more popular in a good way than many of the politicians we hear of daily morning noon and night.
I was a fan a long time ago when I was single but life and career got a hold of me and DH and kids and got lost in the translation. However, lately I had been listening to the radio more as I quilt and piece and I started hearing more of his music. Pretty good stuff.

A lot of artists are doing tribute performances to Prince at their concerts...some are on YouTube and they're really good. It says a lot for someone when so many of their piers pay tribute.
