[quote=carolevidak]I am going to join you ladies in this fight to lose weight. I will do my weigh ins on Thursday. I want very much to loose 40 lbs by July. My son is getting married in September and the bridal shower is in July. Will be meeting up with all my old girl friends. LOL You know how that goes. LOL I need all the help I can get. I have tried to do this myself with a loss of only a lb or two.

Welcome Carole. I'm in the same boat; I have a wedding at the end of May. I don't have a lot of time to fool around! But I lost another 2.4 this week. So far I am on track.

Mrs. Mel - 2.5 pounds in a week is perfect, remember quick off, quick back on....slow and steady wins the long term healthy weight!

I don't eat a lot of red meat, eat mostly chicken, turkey, fish and some pork.

Everyone is doing great!!! I am going to weigh in tomorrow morning. Wonder if Monday is a good day after the weekend??? But then again it has made me think twice before I eat over the weekend knowing that I am going to weigh myself on Monday morning.

Just did 30 minutes on the Wii fit. Surprisingly I feel re-energized! Now if I can just make it part of my daily routine!

You can make it a priority. Just ask yourself everyday...
"Do I want to be healthy today?"
Then answer, "Just for today I will do my best, work my program..."

You are absolutely right! I WILL do this!

Keep going girls! Every movement is positive change, and will result in a better life. Each energy consumption helps to increase your serotonin levels, which in turn, remove that "tired" feeling and add to renewed energy. Go, baby, go!

Good for you. Great numbers. And isn't it nice to feel some improvement already. Keep it up.
