I've never had an integrated sink but my sister talked me into a glass stovetop (I always had gas). I would never go back to any other stove then glass top.

Always had formica, sorta, kinda, knew better than to cut on, but always did. Don't understand the sink either, mine was always full of dishes. So, in saying this, if this is your drama, I hope somebody here will help you, I am sure they will.

Quiltedcritterlady,
Thanks for the input. I have been considering Corian. It is good to hear from someone who has it. |
I've had one since we bought the house 12 years ago. It hasn't chipped but it stains something awful. I can't seem to ever get all the stains out without bleaching the heck out of it.

i have one and really like it. i freeze/can lots from the garden & likewise have to be careful and not pour hot water directly into the sink. always have to run a partial sink of cold water. easy to clean with a teflon backed sponge and/or a little bleach water.

I actually clean my flat surface stove with baking soda & water (Make it into a paste.) I rinse it off good and then use a towel to polish it up .I love mine I won't go back .

We have one in the kitchen and two double vanities in the bathrooms - we love them. No crud to build up around the sink. As for cleaning - I sing the praises of Bar Keeper's Friend cleanser - to anyone who will listen. BEST, BEST, BEST cleanser on the market and I have white Corian sinks. Yes, works even on cooked beets.
