Smart Girl!! I eat Pizza for breakfast, also Chili, and would eat Ribs if there were any left over in Refrigerator! LOL

I only had/have small dogs and they can't reach anything. They aren't strong enough to open anything. My bigger dog was an outside dog.
I do have a six year old cat that can open base cabinet doors in my sewing room and drag stuff out. He is just a pain, no food in there. |
Your dog has good taste! Nothing better than smoked baby backs for any meal of the day. I am putting baby backs on my shopping list, its been awhile since I smoked some.

She must love those "baby back ribs"!

Beautiful dog!!

I once had a dog who ate a pound of butter off the table when we were gone. Yuk.

The really upsetting part is that the 2 racks she ate for breakfast cost as much as a big bag of her Iams dogfood!!!
Love my pets. Love my ribs more.:p Jan in VA |
Well, the consequences of eating the ribs have come to fruition!!! BG is experiencing some gastrointestinal issues that are none to pleasant! Of course, it would have been better if she could have made it outside first  !!! Deep breath and repeat after me: I love BG, I Love BG, I Love BG!!!!:D

I used to have a golden and an irish setter, well, everything from a dozen eggs (not even a piece of shell left) to cantaulope would disappear without a trace other than maybe a wrapper or container! lol The setter was the instigator but the golden always joined in. Now I have a shih tzu and still find myself looking around to make sure nothing is left out that is edible, even though I know he can't reach it, old habits!!

Not a usual menu choice for me but that is what my Shepherd/Akita BG ate this morning! We have a french door refridgerator and the freezer is at the bottom. She was able to open the freezer door and proceeded to to eat not 1 but 2 full racks of frozen baby back ribs! We had just smoked them on Saturday! I am currently doing a 3 month externship at my vet clinic so off to work she went with me! Her punishment was to sit in the dog run in the hospital part of the clinic all day!!! There have been no complications so far and the vet said that of all the bones for a dog to eat, rib bones are the safest because they are smaller, smoother and don't splinter. There is now a child lock on the freezer and she is none too happy about it!!! Here is BG after she had her "breakfast"
