This does look like a great bag. I hope someone has experience to share about it

I've done some Lazy Girl patterns but haven't tried Studio Kat. Really need a bag to travel with-now that we're retired & have started traveling!

I get the Studio Kat newsletter. She states that her patterns are not easy or beginner type patterns. She said when she began designing purses she decided to try and design bags that are like more high end designer styles. While I think her extra photos and explanation are bound to be helpful, I don't think her patterns are for the faint of heart.
On the flip side I have made several of Joan Hawley's Lazy Girl Design bags. They are very well written and easy to follow and always turn out great. Just my humble opinion. |

i've madea the Baggalista. It was a challenge, but turned out beautiful. Directions on finishing bag where lining, outside and straps go together was a challenge. the pockets on the sides, are quite small and really not too useful except for keys. My cell doesn't fit in either side pocket, so if I made it again, I would either enlarge or omit. My pictures of it are on other computer, so I can't send them
