I just recently finished the "Voyager Series by Diana Gabaldon, I love the way she brings her characters to life, You feel like you know them, or someone just like them. Great for a summer read. It is a series. but each book can stand alone too!

Still Alice is the last book I read-the movie is not as good as the book.

If anyone hasn't read any of James Michener's books. They are fantastic. Good long reads with excellent story line, historical fiction at it's best. I read Hawaii in Jr high and devoured all of his books.

maybr not the best but a good read I talked about in the above thread - "Seams Unlikely" by Nancy Zieman

I just finished Seams Unlikely. I found it very interesting, insightful and it kept my attention. Nancy Zieman is a TV pioneer in the sewing and quilting world. She overcame lots of personal health challenges and is a very astute intreprenuer and business woman who listened to her instincts. I have a ton of respect for her and her life story.

Recently read All the Light we Cannot See by Anthony Doer and The End of Your Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe. Loved them both. Presently reading a mystery by Robert Dugoni - The Jury Master. I'm really enjoying it.
