Lucky you - I love cardinals and miss them from when I was growing up in PA. Your pictures of them are very enjoyable.

WOW THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL AND ABUNDANT. WE HAVE A BIRD FEEDER JUST OUTSIDE OF OUR DINNING ROOM AND WE ENJOY FEEDING AND WATCHING THEM. WE HAVE A PAIR OF CARDINALS. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY IN ONE PLACE. THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT. THANKS FOR THE PICTURES AND FOR SHARING THEM WITH US.

Cardinals is the most birds we get here in the winter, Blue Jays and several small birds and Finches stay here also, they change colors for the winter. When I get old I plan on taking up bird watching so I can learn all the species. I'm 65 now and I quilt all the time.

i immediately call the audobon society to find out what it is (the books don't always have good pics). the naturalist is now my friend.  i keep a life list right on my kitchen cabinet. |
