I have two scissors that were DH's grandmother's that were from Sears. One says "Henry Sears & Son" with a date; the other just "Sears".

I thought Montgomery Wards went comepletely out of business.. but few months back , I got a small sale catolog from them... with a web site.....not sure if it is the same as the store.. but it sure reminded me of their old catologs... THAT was the catolog every kid waited on at Christmastime around our parts.. thats or Sears..
I have my moms first sewing machine that my dad bought at Montgomery Wards for $79 in 1951. I got my first set of china at " monkey wards"
