This is very cool and I will probably use it for my Christmas favors this year. Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you I received one in an ornament exchange here last year and wondered how it was made.

Betz White is so creative. Love this fabric star ornament and I don't even have to go to the store for supplies .... they're all in the stash! Nice!

Adorable, thanks for posting the link to the tute. Another item on my "to do" list. I've been working on Jenny Doan's periwinkle mug rug in Christmas colors.

Thanks for the tip on the needle nose pliers, I'll swipe them from my husband's tool box!

I made one! I found that a needle nose pliers works better than a bodkin for pulling the strips through. Also, I had long enough strips left on one side to make four more points. I just had to be sure the points were on the outside, not in the middle. Then I pressed it under my iPad for a while so that the points would stand up.

I just finished one, really cute! I'd add a pic but don't know how, I've tried a few times with no luck. Thanks for the tute. Don't know if any of you remember just the braid made with palms from Palm Sunday, my dad used to make them for our family so while I was making the star it brought back fond memories. Thanks for the memories.
