Freezing rain will stop our mail service, snow? not unless it is up in the mountains/rural roads :D:D:D

They deliver mail here in the snow.

I can't remember more than maybe a couple of days that they didn't deliver. When the weather is really crappy it does come later.

My neighbor is a postperson and she tells me that they don't have to if the sidewalks are not shoveled or there is no way to reach the mailbox. It makes sense.

Live on farm in Minnesota and they do not deliver if it snows. Sometimes we do not get mail for 4 days. We can get to town but no mail!

Yes!!! Living in Wi, we get lots of snow here. They always deliver. Otherwise it would be about 6 months that we wouldn't get our mail.

they aren't delivering much in England!! Snow can stop them if it's bad enough.

When I was in PLattsburgh, where it snowed a lot and we had real cold temperatures, we never missed our mail. They came no matter what. We are in NYC since July and on December 26 we had a large snow storm. It was Sunday. The next day everything was open except for the post office and the bank. The roads were messy but passable. No any other store was closed. We didn't get mail until Wednesday.

Our maillady doesn't come in the snow. We have lots of hills, curvy roads and no shoulders. We are about 35 miles outside St. Louis, I hear our roads are in better condition than the city streets.

In town, our mailman comes trudging by on foot in all weather. Pouring rain, snow, whatever. He is later some days but he is here.

At my mom's in the country, he comes if the road has been plowed. She seldom misses mail even when it snows.
