56 until February

I know why the years fly faster. When you're 3 a year is 1/3 of your life - that's a LOT. When you're 56 a year is 1/56 of your life - not so much. So perceptually - they ARE going faster!

I teach full time and have an after-school piano studio. Our son is a single dad to a 3 year old and he's over here a lot. My quilting time is often in the wee hours. All of that keeps me too busy to think about older. I do wonder why chasing this 3 year old is so much more work than it was when I was chasing his dad!

I also have awesome family and church examples of people who energetically and gracefully have moved through their 70's, 80's, and even 90's. What a legacy for me!

I'm going on 62. Time flies when you're having fun---and even when you're not!

I just turned 70 in November and have decided it is better than the alternative.

What amazes me is that this many "older" people also use the computer. I hear "older" people say that they no nothing about the computer and think they can never learn it. You guys are amazing in not only sewing as much as you do but also using the computer. I am proud of us all!!!

65 years, only as old as I feel, some days very old, some days very young.

My mother is 80. Just got her first lap top. I'm so proud of her! Part of her Christmas with us will be more instruction on what to do with it. She took a class at our local continuing education center and I sit down with her every chance I get - not enough, sadly. But ... she's doing it!

Since her hearing is getting pretty bad, it's so nice to be able to communicate this way - really cuts down on some of the miscommunication we sometimes bog down in.
