Raised three sons, thought I might kill the oldest one at various times. He was really stubborn ,lazy, and ready to argue all the time. Then I had one who was a real sweetheart, never any trouble, but liked to argue his point. The third was funny, a tease, and always ready to work, but always liked to get me riled. Now they are 53, 42, and 40. I couldn't ask for better sons, and they sure love their mom. But you know what? They still like to argue their point, they can be stubborn as all get out, and there is nothing they enjoy more than seeing if they can get me going. LOL Just spent the afternoon with all my kids and grandchildren, we had a ball!!

I've been having the same kind of day, Bezzie58. And I'm wondering if it's just me, or does anyone else feel hurt when the kids don't show their dad that they care? He does so much for us all, he really shouldn't be taken so for granted or disregarded.

??

Or do I just need an attitude adjustment? (I have 3 teens...)

You WILL survive being the mom of teenagers, boys or girls! Sanity however will be optional for days at a time! I know because there was one year that all my guys were teenagers at the same time - 19, 18, 16, 15, 13 - and DD was 9.
