Haha. They're the FBI, they've found out your email, but they don't know your personal information? Funny.

I've had similar before. It disgusts me that someone preys on gullible people. Recently replied to an on-line ad for a "free" puppy, and eventually had them ask me to pay $250 for shipping costs. All contact was through email and text, never spoke to a human. When I replied that I had a week off, and would rather drive to Texas to pick up the puppy, and not stress it by shipping, I never heard any more from them. I had already begun to suspect it was a scam. Talked with a friend in an Animal Rescue organization, and she said this was a common scam originating out of South Africa. Keep your radar on!

I love the incredibly poor grammar in those....And the one from the soldier in Afganistan/Iraq/middle east who found millions and needs MY help to get it into the country...

wow! spam at its finest!! and just imagine many do believe that!
I wish our government would do something about that. and especially us senior citizens with fixed incomes look at it as a ruse. how sad that people like this can get away with it! |
A lady here in Chino Valley, Arizona had the same email. They called the police who referred them to the FBI who said they have had many of these and they are scams. So, don't do anything they ask of you.

oh have you had toe one about they send you a check, you put it in your account and you get 10% and you send the rest to them? I did, but I asked my banker about it, she said it is a skam and if I did deposit that money, I would have been liable for the money. oh these people are so tricky! I did have the foresight to check it out!
