Well, I am a great OSU (OHIO State) fan and sure glad we got the Big Ten channel on TV. We live in Tennessee and also really enjoy the Titans (Eddie George of Ohio State made me start watching the Titans).
I like Tennessee and have been looking for a picture of the team back in 1952/53 and can't find any. Hmmm. Does that date me. Dodee |
Even though Canadians are supposedly hockey fans, I'm married to an American ex-pat and it's football in this house. Thank goodness!! Sundays are great, because football is on all day and I can sew in between running to watch the replays (and then staying 'cause I'm hooked). My DH is a Brett Favre fan. I'm less faithful.
I've been to CFL and NHL games and football wins hands down every time. Live hockey is weird because they skate around aimlessly every time there's a commercial on TV. Football just plays on and lets the TV work around it. |
Suzi, I thought my daughter and I were the only ones! Believe it or not, my husband can take football or leave it; he just goes to the games because I love them. I'm a huge Georgia Bulldog fan (with quite a disappointing season going on right now). College football is my first love; but I watch NFL also. Like the Vikings (same bad season as my Bulldogs). Also the Colts and Broncos. I guess I have to keep up with the Falcons since I live in the Atlanta area.
|
Go 9ers! Yes, I too watch football every Sunday. Some weeks that's ALL I do. The one thing I will give up quilting for is a 49ers game. Too bad Sunday Ticket got so expensive. They don't broadcast enough 49ers games here in Arizona. We're stuck with the Cardinals.
|
Not me, not since the Eagles got rid of all our good quarterbacks. I am a NASCAR fan; have been since I was a kid. I knit while watching it.

Hi, I like football too, and watch with my husband when our favorite team is playing... "The Chicago Bears" Win or loose we stick with them, and this year isn't so good. We live in Wisconsin, so being a Bear fan isn't easy!!!
|
Bears game is on - I watch when the announcers sound excited!
Can't just sit and watch - too much to do around the house. |
Go CARDINALS! Never used to watch but the guys work so hard and carry off some great plays.
Also watch the Notre Dame college ball games because grandchild goes there. |
Cardinals were just tied and going into overtime now.
|
Cardinals just lost. Favre finally pulled one out for the Vikings.
|
Saturday, all day - LSU and Ohio State! Go Bucks! Geaux Tigers! Sundays, usually only if the Cincy Bengals are on!
|
Our son in Indiana is a Cincy. Bengals fan, too.

Besides that, Tinucci's gave $500 to the Boys and Girls Club here in the Twin Cities! So, we will see how Harvin and Brett and the boys play today. We have have bad years and we have good years. This may be a bad year, but basically, the guys are good guys! I am embroidering a Christmas quilt, which I am sure is going to take a few years to get all embroidered, so I do that while I watch the game! GO VIKES! Edie

We have the Sunday Ticket so we can get the Colts and Raiders. Whenwe started dating DH told me that his fave team was the Raiders and his gave NFC team was the Rams. DH was sick all pm but I watched and did some hand sewing and removed some basting stitches.
|
i'm a huge New England Patriots fan - they are the only football team I watch. Wes Welker is the best and can I just say I am SOOOO glad we traded Randy Moss! My boys didn't have such a great game today, that's ok, there is always next week!

I have been a Vikings fan since the purple people eaters were big.. lol.. I am still.. my jersey is number 69.. Jared Allen rocks.. and today he can be the daddy of my future babies.. lol.. just kidding.. what a freaking amazing game. Now I am in GA though and as for college.. I follow the bulldogs.. football is just plain ole fun! |
Hate it with a vengeance.

I am an Oregon Duck, and DH is an Oregon Beaver. Our house is LOUD on "Civil War" Saturday!
|
Geaux Tigers!
|
I am a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. I have 5 sons who all played football when they were young and my beautiful daughter was a cheerleader I was very busy and involved in sports. So you see I love football!!!
|
I'm a Dallas Cowboy fan but I know they are doing lousy this year. I was praying tonight that they would win but right now it's not looking to good. Score 45-7.
I also like the Texas Longhorns but they are not doing to good either. But there is always next year. |
Being from Wisconsin, is there any team besides the Packers?
|
Love Our Denver Bronco's . But were having a really bad year.Wishing them Good luck and GO BRONCO's :)

Very much into football (college and NFL). My husband and I are in our 70s and have home tickets for UVA football. We live 2-1/2 hrs away from Charlottesville which means arising at 4 AM to get to noon games. Late games we do not get home until after midnight. We tailgate with our son and wife or son and grandson and have special fellowship. We have attended many Penn State games (my brother has season tickets--love Joe Paterno w/his 400th win).
We both play "fantasy football." I have three teams and my husband has 13. We try to get to our grandson's games in Richmond (a HS senior playing cornerback). First thing after coming home from church (both AM and PM), we turn on the football game. We are Redskin fans--really. At least they are doing better than Dallas this year. :) This was an amazing question for a quilting board but, as you see, we are kind of "eat up with football." Of course, we love baseball and college basketball, too. There is much quilting time while watching these events. |

I'm so glad so many women are sports fans, 'specially football! |

I learned to understand the game and I have been a fan ever since. Later, my husband thought it was really neat that I knew the game. Of course, as fate would have it, I ended up marrying a Pitt man, so every Saturday we had a war at our house!
My dad's enthusiasm for pro football rubbed off on me and, needless to say, I always have been and still am the biggest, most avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I get very emotional about the Steelers and, even though I live alone now, I never miss a game on TV, and I holler and cheer and pound the furniture and jump up and down and curse and cry and just get SO excited - all by myself! As much as I love sewing and quilting, it all has to wait until after the game! I get dressed in Steeler gear and yell and scream and pound furniture too! Have been to a few games in my life and that is just so intense and wonderful. Pgh. has the greatest fans in the world!! |

I like that one Ditter, I'm with you on this subject !!! |
I am a huge Nottingham Forest fan, though DH is also a big, big Penn State fan - he got his BS, MS and PhD there. F1 is the other big sport in our household, and we regularly get up at 4.30 am to watch the European races.
