Frohe Weihnachten!

My parents are both from Germany and that is why we have always celebrated our Christmas on Christmas Eve. This year the DGS's will have some gifts to open from Santa on Christmas morning since my DDIL grew up doing it that way but it is sure confusing my 6 yr old DGS as he has never had Santa come while he was sleeping. It was always while we were at Christmas Dinner. The cooking is done, the gifts are unwrapped (except the Santa gifts), the leftovers are packed away and all my Christmas projects were ready to be unwrapped on time. (It only took until 5:30 in the morning to finish!) I got sleep (a little ) and still had time to help cook the meal for 15. All in all a great day - now to start working on next years stuff!!!!!

We're celebrate Christmas and unpacking the gifts on the Christmas Eve. But my son was this morning (we have 10:30 am ) unhappy. No gifts under the tree. *lol* He has seen yesterday the movie "Polar Express" and now he want's to have the gifts on Christmas morning. Next year we will do the same, a few on Christmas Eve and the other's from Santa on the Christmas morning.

Have a nice Christmas Day!!
