When we were first married, we lived in Pontiac, Mi. My childrendon't believe my stories of gas wars when gas got down to 25 cents a gallon. Ah, the good old days.

So true! I live so far in the country, trying to only go to town when I work anymore!

So the ears perk up when a neighbor or friend says they are going to Walmart..."Can I have a ride?". Give the driver a little something for the ride a-long. Better yet, carpool with friends.

Walking might be good for the soul, but it would be a 10 mile round trip walk for me!!

Even tho I'm broke as a joke I was just in there on saturday and while waiting for an oil change I was petting fabric. There were 2 free patterns . . . one quilt of the month and one for spring with butterflys on it super cute!! and the April QOM for a 92X92 pattern was under $30.00 for all material. so yeah for all those getting fabrics back!! |
Ain't that the truth!

We'll all have to car pool and rent a trailer to pull behind. LOL

I ride my bike to Walmart when I can, so that's no problem for me. Ooops, forgot, I'm moving soon and I'll be farther from the Walmart with fabric (but it's still only 10 miles, no problem for me in the summer!)
